British Biology Olympiad 2024
The British Biology Olympiad (BBO) challenges and stimulates students with an interest in biology to expand and extend their talents. It enables students to demonstrate their talent and to be suitably rewarded with publicly recognised certificates.
This year over 15,000 students from over 900 schools worldwide took part. This year, year 12 Biologists from Barnhill participated and were awarded the following awards:
- Maisha – Bronze
- Billy – Highly Commended
- Daniels– Highly Commended
- Zubayer – Highly Commended
- Bisma – Highly Commended
Only 15% of 15000 students across the world were awarded Bronze and Highly Commended awards. Teachers at Barnhill would like to congratulate our students for participating in this year’s British Biology Olympiad.
