Enrichment Virtual Talks from Leaders in their Field

Enrichment has continued at Barnhill during the CoVid-19 lock down within the school’s fantastic online learning platform.  

Year 12 have so far attended a virtual talk with the chance of questions with Tom Toumazis MBE, a former media, entertainment and technology executive on 20th April; and Year 10 joined Edward Vince,  Creative Director of Airbnb to hear how the current job market is changing for the Creative Industries. 

We have talks planned with Paul Williams, a Producer at the BBC Natural History Unit; David Morrissey - actor and director; and Baroness Natalie Bennett - a Peer and former leader of the Green Party of England and Wales about the environment and what we can do to reduce plastic usage and waste. 

We hope to be in a position to organise an opportunity for every student to participate in a virtual talk, every week.
